It depends on the Travel Guard, and if you are entitled to "cancel for any reason" option. To obtain this option, just in some of their plans, you must pay the insurance within 15 days of purchasing your first trip payment and you must ensure that the total pre,-for your trip. Will be refunded once you have done that and bought the only solution for a percentage of the total trip cost (typically% 75) and if you cancel your reservation, you must cancel at least 48 hours or more before departure.
It is totally dependent on the conditions of your policy, read it. many others do not, I think, for any reason, cancel a clause that is quite expensive. Each travel insurance, I read that sounds like a license to steal for them.
