Require the madness of the creationists claim "transitional species" is not really such a thing. They believe that something like this, literally, "transitional" - no real character development, which corresponds to their environment over time, but something fleeting, existing only as an intermediate position between another and another - in this afternoon, in your mind a kind of "ultimate goal". The whole premise is wrong, because evolution has no goal "in mind, and everything that lives in his time, a complete system adapted to its environment.
